Little Artists at work!!

This week we played with bottle caps trying to make a variety of shapes with them. Then we painted the caps white, yellow, orange, red, green and brown. We had so much fun counting and painting the bottle caps (and also our hands)!! We will use the painted bottle caps next week to make a beautiful wall decor.

Fine Arts time - Pencil Sketching!!

This week we learnt the basics of Pencil Sketching and drew a 3D image of a cup. We learnt how to hold the pencil and how to shade. We also learnt the concept of light and shadows on objects which forms the basis for creating 3D realistic drawings.

Eggshell Mosaic Butterfly

This week, we did a mosaic art with the painted eggshells from last week and created beautiful butterflies.

Eggshell Painting and Mosaic Art Basics

This week we learnt what is Mosaic Art and the different ways we can do it. Since we will be doing a Mosaic Art with broken eggshells next week, we painted 2 eggshells and drew a butterfly outline this week.

This week, we made paper baskets... We learnt the art of paper folding and had great fun decorating the baskets.

New Batch starts today!!

This Tuesday, a new batch has started and we worked on an up-cycling project, a Desk Organizer made with used water bottles. Hope a lot of stuff at home will be more organised now!!

3-D Wall Decor

This Monday, the kids did an awesome 3D Wall Decor with the Daisies we made in the last class. We learnt a lot of stuff like the different painting strokes, when to use them and also how to paint the objects to give a Matt and Gloss effect.

Daisies are here already!!

This week we made daisies out of the top portion of the plastic water bottles that were discarded in our previous project, as we being ideal artisans we don't waste any of our resources. We had lots of fun painting the daisies (and also our hands)!! Good job kids!! Have a great Spring break!!

First Class - Desk Organizer
